DMA partner clinics in Seoul, Korea

This is NOT "dental tourism". This is a coordinated clinical programme.

Every year thousands of Australians travel overseas for dental treatment. But they have no structure, no warranty, and no support when they return. DMI changes that completely.

Partner clinics

with documented experience

The partner clinics in Seoul have performed over 70,000 implant procedures! These are NOT small overseas clinics. They are established, purpose-built implant facilities partnered with DMA.

Formal written warranty with DMI Protect+

Every patient receives a written warranty certificate. Defined scope, defined exclusions, clear escalation pathway. Not a verbal promise.

Assessment by our Australian dentists before you commit

Not every patient is suitable. Our Australian clinical team screens every patient - including a CBCT scan at no cost - before any commitment is made.

Zirconia only - no acrylic

Full zirconia bridges only. This is the same material used in Australian private clinics. With DMI, you are backed by Dental Members' experience and quality standards.

We are on the ground in our partner clinics.

Our senior clinical team has physically walked through and hand-chosen every partner clinic in Korea. And you have a qualified Australian dentist enrolled in your care from day one - before you fly, while you heal, and every recall visit for three years after you return.

Three tiers,

so treatment matches your situation

Important information about this programme

  • Where treatment happens. Surgical and restorative treatment under this programme is performed by an independent Korean partner clinic. That clinic operates under Korean law and is regulated in Korea — it is not regulated by the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).

  • Surgical risk. Implant and full-mouth surgery carries the risks associated with any surgical procedure, including but not limited to infection, implant failure, and the possibility that further treatment is required. Your Australian dentist and the treating clinic in Seoul will discuss the risks relevant to your circumstances before you commit.

  • You have a choice. You are free to have this or equivalent treatment provided in Australia instead. This programme is one option among others, and your Australian dentist can discuss local alternatives with you.

How it works: Step by step

Every step coordinated by the DMI team in Australia. You are never navigating this important treatment alone.

The partner clinic's surgical team reviews records remotely, confirms suitability and plans implant placement and prosthetic design.

Finance & Flight Coordination

Payment options discussed: direct payment , approved payment plan, or superannuation (where eligible under ATO compassionate grounds criteria). Flights arranged through Flight Centre.

Everything you need

to know before you decide.

What if something goes wrong when I come home?

Every patient receives a written warranty certificate and three years of aftercare under DMI Protect+. Single implant failures are assessed and, where appropriate, managed by an Australian partner clinic. Where the warranty terms provide for corrective treatment in Korea, DMI coordinates your return and the partner clinic undertakes the corrective treatment. The full scope, exclusions and escalation pathway are set out in the Warranty Schedule, provided to you in writing before you commit.

Why two trips? Could there be a third?

Two trips is the DMI clinical standard.

Trip 1 places implants and fits provisional teeth. After 4–6 months of healing monitored by your Australian dentist,

Trip 2 fits the final zirconia bridge — allowing osseointegration to be confirmed before the final bridge is fitted. For more complex cases, a third trip to Seoul may be recommended by the partner clinic's surgical team. If a third trip is required, clinic transfers in Seoul are covered. Flights for all trips are arranged by DMI through Flight Centre and paid separately by the patient..

What are my payment options?

The DMI Korea Programme can be paid directly, through an approved payment plan subject to credit assessment, or in some cases through compassionate release of superannuation. Whether superannuation can be released is a decision made by the ATO against its own criteria, not by DMI or by your dentist, and we cannot guarantee an application will be approved. If you would like to explore it, we will talk you through the process and what documentation is required at your consultation. No financial commitment is made before your full clinical assessment is complete.

How long do the implants and bridge last?

Published peer-reviewed literature reports high long-term survival rates for dental implants in appropriately selected patients. Zirconia bridge longevity varies depending on individual patient factors including bite load, home care compliance and systemic health. Your clinician will discuss realistic expectations based on your individual circumstances. Individual outcomes cannot be guaranteed.

What is not included in the programme fee ?

The programme fee covers implant surgery, all extractions, provisional teeth on the day of surgery, clinic transfers in Seoul, your final full zirconia bridge, a written warranty certificate and three years of Australian aftercare under DMI Protect+.
Not included: international flights, accommodation, personal travel expenses, and recall visits, which are paid at your Australian partner clinic and capped at $500 per six-monthly visit. Your full itemised quote is provided in writing before any commitment is made.
