Our partner clinics have performed over 70,000 implant procedures. Dr Park Jung-chul is the first Asian recipient of the André Schroeder Award
Every patient receives a written warranty certificate and three years of aftercare under DMI Protect+. Single implant failures are assessed and, where appropriate, managed by an Australian partner clinic. Where the warranty terms provide for corrective treatment in Korea, DMI coordinates your return and the partner clinic undertakes the corrective treatment. The full scope, exclusions and escalation pathway are set out in the Warranty Schedule, provided to you in writing before you commit.
Two trips is the DMI clinical standard.
Trip 1 places implants and fits provisional teeth. After 4–6 months of healing monitored by your Australian dentist,
Trip 2 fits the final zirconia bridge — allowing osseointegration to be confirmed before the final bridge is fitted. For more complex cases, a third trip to Seoul may be recommended by the partner clinic's surgical team. If a third trip is required, clinic transfers in Seoul are covered. Flights for all trips are arranged by DMI through Flight Centre and paid separately by the patient..
The DMI Korea Programme can be paid directly, through an approved payment plan subject to credit assessment, or in some cases through compassionate release of superannuation. Whether superannuation can be released is a decision made by the ATO against its own criteria, not by DMI or by your dentist, and we cannot guarantee an application will be approved. If you would like to explore it, we will talk you through the process and what documentation is required at your consultation. No financial commitment is made before your full clinical assessment is complete.
Published peer-reviewed literature reports high long-term survival rates for dental implants in appropriately selected patients. Zirconia bridge longevity varies depending on individual patient factors including bite load, home care compliance and systemic health. Your clinician will discuss realistic expectations based on your individual circumstances. Individual outcomes cannot be guaranteed.
The programme fee covers implant surgery, all extractions, provisional teeth on the day of surgery, clinic transfers in Seoul, your final full zirconia bridge, a written warranty certificate and three years of Australian aftercare under DMI Protect+.
Not included: international flights, accommodation, personal travel expenses, and recall visits, which are paid at your Australian partner clinic and capped at $500 per six-monthly visit. Your full itemised quote is provided in writing before any commitment is made.
